Three Mobile

The Client
As mobile phones are cast as a societal villain, Three Mobile UK takes on the cynics and brings some balance to the debate with its advertising campaign ‘Phones Are Good’.
I worked on the initial concept development phase at W+K, focused on press and OOH creative, that went live nationwide from October 2018 to January 2019.
The Challenge
The challenge was to work within Three Mobile’s brand guidelines (consisting of just black Helvetica Bold and a 3-colour gradient), whilst bringing to life the Millennial and Generation Z digital world on a print-first advertising campaign.
I experimented with layouts, repetition, imagery and lingo from the digital world, while also trying to take the ‘Phones Are Good’ concept a bit further within its set tone of voice. The final result was dozens of artboards and possibilities that helped W+K’s design team develop the campaign’s very catchy look and feel.
