The Client

Pineapple is a design and manufacturing company focusing on developing furniture fit for extraordinary environments. From maximum security prisons to mental health units, they make their products both resistant and safe without having to sacrifice beauty and aesthetics.

Since they work with vulnerable spaces and end-users, the challenge was to put together a promotional book with a human side to it, that could transmit their company ethos and design-led mindset without resorting to a sales-y or technical catalogue approach.

The Challenge

I worked with Earnest’s creative team to devise a concept for the piece. We included reviews from end-users, case studies, a break down of their client services and design processes, as well as their product photography and renders.

A contemporary type-led editorial style complements the words and images, making each spread as unique as their furniture pieces.
